In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.
*Media Service during Arbaeen Ziyarat*
The service during the Arbaeen march is not led by a state, the Shrines (Atabat), the Hawza, nor by institutions, with all due respect to all their efforts.
Rather, it is a popular service performed by individuals, and everyone participates in a (decentralized) way.
Nevertheless, it is highly organised, with amazing fluency, beautifully harmonious, and exhibits exceptional levels of cooperation, generosity and sincerity.
And in the Husseini service, great efforts are delivered by Mawakib and homes that embrace millions of people who know nothing about them except that they are the visitors of Hussain.
Praise be to Allah, there is a sufficient offering in most of the services, but the media service remains very far from the significance of the event, despite the efforts of the media professionals who persevere in performing their best to fulfill their duty towards this great march. But we need to complement that by spreading the culture of citizen journalism and the popular media service of the march of Arbaeen.
If every visitor and servant of Hussain takes 50 snapshots, or a short video of the bright images that they witness throughout the days of the Arbaeen march, we will have hundreds of millions of pictures that can flood social media platforms around the world in various languages. Those social media platforms whose influence today has become more important than the impact of satellite broadcasting.
Spread the clips and messages of the ziyarat for documentation.
Spread this message to attain the mercy of Allah.
