Most schools on the island of Montreal, QC, Canada will be closed Monday, January 17, 2022 due to a snowstorm expected to begin early Monday morning.

The major school boards and service centres on the island, including the English Montreal School Board (EMSB), the Centre de services scolaire de Montréal and the Lester B. Pearson School Board, announced schools will be closed on Monday.

All schools and adult centres and the head office of the English Montreal School Board will be closed tomorrow (Monday) because of the weather.

Environment Canada says southern Quebec can expect between 15 and 25 cm of snow and strong winds.
