Imam Al-Kadhim peace be upon him: A Guiding Star

In the land of Medina,
A child was born with light,
Imam Musa Al-Kadhim, his name,
A leader with divine might.

From the Prophet, he descended,
With wisdom and knowledge vast,
Guiding the people towards goodness,
In times of darkness that did last.

Oppressed and imprisoned, he was,
For his faith and love of God,
But his spirit was unbroken,
In his heart, the flame of God.

A spiritual guide to all,
His teachings touched the hearts of many,
But Harun, the Caliph of the day,
Saw him as a threat to his reign so plenty.

In the heart of Baghdad,
A great man drew his final breath,
Imam Al-Kadhim, the seventh of the Twelve,
Who preached love and peace until his death.

In Kadhimiya, his shrine stands,
A beacon of light for all to see,
Imam Al-Kadhim, a guiding star,
For those who seek to be free.

He taught us patience and resilience,
To seek justice and spread love,
With his noble deeds and teachings,
He rose to the heavens above.

Oh Imam Al-Kadhim, your legacy endures,
A shining example, of how faith assures,
The strength to stand, in the face of tyranny,
And fight for truth, with unwavering dignity.
